Hi,

I have a lot of hi8 tapes which I would really like to save to my older MacBook Pro if it’s possible.
Does anyone know if it is and if so what cables would I need?
I tried the video/audio cables R Y W to HDMI and nothing so rather than experimenting with all sorts I just thought there may be someone in the community who could point me to the right place🙂

You need a Thunderbolt to FireWire (or FireWire to Thunderbolt 🤗) Adaptor...

DCR-TRV120E is a Digital8 Camcorder and you can use the Digital FireWire Output.
