Hi.

Can someone give me a definite answer if the Catalyst stabilisation software works with the AX700 camcorder.

I asked this question in another lets say social media group and it descended into an argument between two people. One yes and one no.

They both have the camcorder (apparently).

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated as I have held off buying this camcorder because of the stabilisation. I don't fancy using a gimbal.

This software when told about it the other day could be the answer for me.

Also....

Do any of you know of any planned releases for new camcorders in the same sort of price bracket as the AX700 as there haven't been any for a good while now.

Hi @vsuktwisted

I've been informed that there is no stabilisation offered by the software.

I'm not sure about equivalent Camcorders as I shoot video with my alpha camera but

maybe one of our other members may know.

It might be introduce in a future update, but I wouldn't rely on that to be honest, cheers.
