topic CCD-TR60E — TAPE STUCK in Camcorders

Hi - I have a few film cassettes that I am copying to DVD but there is already a tape stuck in the camera. Are there any tips to remove it? I have the manual and am following the instructions, the button battery is new and I am using the mains connector for power. I am really stuck. Any help gratefully received.

Thanks.
