Hello everyone. I've only just joined so hope I put my problem across properly. I own a Sony AX53 camcorder which I purchased in 2018. I installed Play Memories on my iMac and now, when I try to open it up, a message appears saying that, " the app needs to be updated to work with this version of macIOS", which is Catalina. Can anyone explain what I need to do?

Hi,

Unfortunately there's no version of PlayMemories Home that supports MAC OS Catalina.

Also support for MAC has been terminated end of March this year.

Thanks for replying to my problem. Don't know if you can answer this question. If I was to delete Play Memories Home from my iMac and just connected my camcorder to the Mac with a USB cable, could I then import the footage in Final Cut Pro, which I have installed on the Mac.
