Playmemories Home not installing on Win7 64-bit

Hi, trying to install Playmemories Home on a Vaio laptop with 64-bit Win7. From the link on my new Action Cam HDR-AS30V:

I get the following message when it is trying to install:

"Cannot continue the PlayMemories Home installation because 'PMB.msi' installation failed. Try installing PlayMemories Home again. 1004-2021-4034"

I have tried numerous times with the same error.

Any help appreciated.

pmb.msi sounds like a part of the predecessor software program known as Picture Motion Browser. If you try installing it first then upgrade it to Playmemories home with the PMH installer afterwards, maybe it might help.

It appears that the link for PMB was removed from the UK support website.

Here is a link I found for the installer on Sony Japan's server. Good luck!
