HX80 camera menu button

The menu button on HX80 seems to have suddenly stopped working. It is my mother's camera and she never goes into the menu (it is always me that changes any settings/formats cards etc), always carry's it in a case and confirmed she hasn't knowingly dropped or banged it. It is over 2 years old but we have never had a problem with it until now.

Everything else it working fine. I unfortunately can't see if the usual approach of doing a factory reset would help as this is in the menu! Unless anyone knows of a physical button/another way to do this on the HX80?

Would anyone know of any other reasons or fixes for this? I have a feeling I will be taking this to our local camera repair shop but thought I'd try my luck on here!
