HDR-AS15 - Stops Recording

I recently purchased a HDR-AS15 and took it out for its first use today. The camera has a 16GB Sony M2 card in it.

The camera starts recording fine, but then stops. When set to 1080/60p (PS) it stops just after 1 minute (file size of 69MB) and at 1080/30p (HQ) it stops at about 5 minutes (file size of 537MB) and each time it flahses up RCVER. (So far I have manged up 1 hour when set at 720/30p (STD) - I stopped this manually).

The firmware is the latest version 3.00 and I have double checked all of the settings and reseated the memory card, but its still doing it.

I would expect to be able to record using either of the two 1080 high quality settings until either the memory card fills up or the battery runs out;... especially when using an offical Sony M2 card!

Is anyone aware of any known issues or possible reasons as to why this is happening?
