Fdr X3000 HD / 4k Setting

Hi guys,

I hope someone can help me with my silly question. I'm torn between purchasing the AS300 and FDRX3000. I really like the idea of having 4K at my disposal should I decide to use it later.

My question is can the 4K setting be disabled on the X3000 and give the same quality footage at 1080p 60fps as found on the AS300 as I've been told the quality on the AS300 at 1080p 60fps is fantastic.?

Hi @ASBOST007,

yes, the 1080p modes of the FDR X3000 are eqivalent in quality to the ones on the HDR AS300.

Additionally you get the 1080p 100/120fps mode which isn't available on the HDR AS300 at all.
