Hi,

I am having trouble switching on steady shot on my HDR x1000 action cam. I want to shoot 1080p 120fps at 100mbps. However, It only lets me activate it using 1080p 60fps at 50mbps.

Is this normal or am I missing something?

Hi there mtbdave247,

this is normal, since the stabilization is just digitally.

It is limited to 1080p24/30/60fps.

If you want stabilization in every recording mode (including 4K and 1080p120fps), you need to go for the FDR X3000, since it uses optical stabilization.
