Bluetooth Connection PS-LX310BT to GTK-XB7

I'm trying to connect a Sony PS-LX310BT bluetooth turntable to a Sony GTK-XB7 bluetooth speaker.

Having problems pairing them with both blue lights continuously flashing - no other bluetooth devices around. Does anyone have any idea what to do - all advice welcome!

have you tried all the troubleshooting steps listed for the GTK-XB7 on page 30 of the manual?

Have you tried resetting the GTK-XB7 or the turntable/both devices once?
