WF-1000XM3 Windows 10 Issue

Hi,

I recently bought a WF-1000XM3 ear buds, but can't seem to connect it with my Windows 10 laptop.

I have the most recent Windows 10 update, and the most recent 2.02 update from Sony, but they don't appear as a WF-1000XM3 ear buds, which is very weird because I was able to link my Samsung Galaxy Buds with my Windows 10.

Maybe someone has an idea how to fix this?

Hallo @Feardex,

there are differen bluetooth standards and codecs.

Maybe the BT-transmitter in your notebook doesn't support the codecs needed for the Sony headphones?

You can always use an external BT-transmitter (USB-dongle) in that case then.

I tried it on my desktop PC which does have a Bluetooth dongle, but no signs of Bluetooth from my WF-1000XM3's, which is very frustrating because I am working at school continuously and I cannot work without concentration.

Hope they will fix this soon.
