SRS-X5 bluetooth speaker not Magnetically Shielded

Hi. Because the SRS-X5 is not magnetically shielded, when I'm travelling I've always packed it well away from my hard drive, phone, tablet, credit card, etc. so as not to wipe any data from them. Which is a bit of a pain!

Is it safe to leave those devices beside it in a bag? If not, how close can they be?

Does it make a difference to the unit's magnet shielding if the SRS-X5 is turned off or on?

Appreciate any comments about this.
