MDR 1000x handsfree causing problems in Windows 10

Hi,

I'm experiencing some issues regarding the handsfree driver on Windows 10 with these headphones. I'm working in Tec support and are looking to use these in a work environment where I can listen to music as well as make phone calls and such. My problem is that when I set these up with my Cisco IP phone I only get the choice to use the handsfree driver, and when I do all other windows related sounds get fully muted (this only happens with these headphones).

So my question is this: is it possible to disable the handsfree driver and only use the stereo one and still get the microphone to work?
