SRS-X77 Battery Life - Only 3 hours?

We have the SRS-X77, which we bought brand new in February 2017. This page of specs says the battery should last 10 hours. I know specs are optimistic but the two times we have used this speaker with battery power only it died in just under 3 hours. One time was streaming Spotify over wifi and the second time was bluetooth from my mobile. My 5-year old Phillips speaker this replaces still would last 6 hours or more on a single charge, after 5 years.

Specs:

Is 3 hours expected in these conditions or should I be contacting support for an exchange?

I did find this FAQ topic that is sort of related. I am going to give it a shot this evening with a full charge and the network swich off to see if we get better results.
