Hye,

I had bought 2 audio cd-players, I`ve connected one (an Sny Mex-bt3900u) in a 1996 Daewoo Cielo, using an ISO adaptor, and another one (a Sony CDX-230) in a 2004 Citroen Berlingo. In either cases i`ve started them, but after i set them up i have the problem of reseting. Agter some time, they reset themselfs to factory settings, sometimes after a quarter- half an hour. How do i work it out? It`s not like i have problems with only one, it`s the same problem with both of them!

Hi there

It is interesting that you have the same fault on two different model CD Players and cars. Therefore I would assume there is a wiring issue somewhere.

For the BT3900U : Manual HERE

Especially trace the circuit for whether its connect to the cars battery - as this should be the one that prevents resetting (i.e. disconnect car battery resets the unit - but with a continuous power supply, it should be ok)

Cheers
