Headphones - constant popping sound - MDR-NC500D

Hi,

Has anyone had a constant 'popping' sound while using the Sony noise cancelling headphones - MDR NC500D.

It can be really annoying. It doesn't stop when you turn the music off, or pull the jack from the iPod/iPad/PC Laptop.

It regularly occurs when sitting in the window seat of an aeroplane or train, which is the whole purpose of these headphones.

Looks like a hardware isse to me. When did this start happening? You might want to check the warranty here too. Call support, I would suggest.

Mine do this, too! To me it sounds like they are adjusting for air pressure. Very annoying.
