Not showing elapsed time on Walkman NWZ-A15

After losing my ipod classic while i was holiday i looked around for a replacement with a big capacity and decided on the a-15 as you can use a micro sd card.

I imported all my albums from my itunes library to media go and it has been flawless.

My problem is when i select a song the time elapsed line is there for five seconds and then the cover flow increases and hides the time elapsed line.This even happens when there is no cover art and it just shows the walkman icon.

A little problem maybe but i do like to see how much time has gone and what is left.

Just to clarify this, after five seconds of a track the cover art goes from filling three quarters of the screen to full size which completely covers the showed elapsed timeline.

Surely someone else has had this problem.?

That's how it works on Sony Walkman. Nothing wrong with that.
