Can the user replace the internal battery of the MDR-ZX770BN headphones? If so, which battery is it and how would I do so?

If not, then how much does it cost to get the battery replaced using the Sony Technology Centre in UK?

Hi there

According to the manual HERE :

"If the life of the built-in rechargeable battery drops significantly, the battery should be replaced. Consult your nearest Sony dealer for replacement of the rechargeable battery."

Sony repair centres can be found:

However I have just seen this YouTube clip - although I dont know the model of the headphones in the clip, but was wondering if it was as simple as this:

It probably isnt, so recommend a Sony repair centre in link above.
