Hello guys, is there a way I can set my sound so it doesn't change unless I turn it down, as when listerning to audio book, if I wish to pause my listerning for couple of hours, when I turn it back on, I have to turn up sound again, it seems to be set on 17 and I need it on at least 24 or 25 as my hearing isn't good. I would be grafeful for any help, thank you. Mags

Hi there

This is by design im afraid:

http://download.sony-europe.com/pub/manuals/html/Z003641111/EN/contents/TP0000067716.html

"If the volume is set beyond the specific level (*1) and you turn off the Walkman, the volume returns to the specific level (*1) automatically."

Cheers
