MediaGo.exe System Error - VCOMP120.DLL missing

On trying to access MediaGo, I now encounter a message saying :

"MediaGo.exe System Error - The program can't start because VCOMP120.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

I suspect that this issue could be related to a windows update (I am using Windows 8.1).

Anyone know what the issue might be?.

The Sony Community Forum doesn't have any related issues reported.

Hi Manolo,

yes I tried it several times. I installed the Microsoft Visual C++ too. Because there were some hints in google with this solution. However nothing helps. Do you have an idea?

Solved!!! I copied the files from an another Windows 10 PC to my Laptop (there were two different folders). It works, yeah!

I have the same problem after updating MediaGo. I am using Windows 7.

Can't use MediaGo at all now.
