CFD-E100L (Radio Cassette CD Player)

Anyone know how to fix a 'no sound' issue with this product, please? Picks radio stations, plays CDs and Cassettes but no sound. Only slight sound heard is when it is switched on or off. Many thanks.

Hi there

Assuming that it is a hardware fault, you may want to either consider the following;

Take the CFD-E100L to a repair shop for diagnosis and repair
It might be more cost effective to purchase another radio/CD Player

I have attached the service manual to this post (PDF) - however I advise caution if you do not know what you are doing. At your risk.

Thanks a million. Will try Sony Service in the UK again as previously they said they couldn't help as they didn't have the service manual for this device.
