Hi there

Appologies for the delayed response. Upon looking at the instructions, it appears that you do need to connect to a PC/Laptop in order to upgrade the FW. If you dont have one, you could see if a family member or friend can do it for you. Also maybe the local library - they have PCs to use, and as long as its not too locked down and restricted, you maybe able to update the FW

Can't believe I missed this one as a proud owner of a black NW-A3000.

Unfortunately the simple answer is as Quinnicus said - No.

I am wondering though if it is possible by running a version of windows in a virtual machine on Android and installing via that. (Although the legality / what version of windows you would use plus how you could install it may also present further problems.)

On balance the library seems much easier
