topic Sony XM5 ANC issues after firmware update in Portable Audio

After the update my headphones were fine for about an hour, at least I didn't notice any issue. Now the ANC is completely screwed. The right ear is making all sorts of noises, it buzzes when a car drives past outside. It constantly feels like it is blowing in my ear. I can't leave it on. When I move my head even the tiniest bit it goes vrrrrrrrrrr.

Can anyone help? Can I downgrade the firmware easily? Anybody else having similar issues?

Hey @Raja123456

If it only started after the update, then it could be a software glitch. There is no way to downgrade the update but you can try resetting and initializing the headphones: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wh1000xm5/v1/en/contents/TP1000541012.html & https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wh1000xm5/v1/en/contents/TP1000541013.html

Hope this works!
