Hi, just purchased Sony tv speakers SRS-LSR200 work fine listening to tv via digital audio (opital) but when I go into amazon prime app to watch movie no sound. Any ideas please.

Hi @Larry1956, it seems to be an app glitch. Try resetting both devices from the mains. Also, is it a Sony TV? If so, which model?

If possible, try another optical cable. Or try unplugging and reconnecting the cable and check again.

Thankyou for the suggests, I will try them out today. The tv is a low end samsung.

Thanks again for your help, I decided to buy another tv, slightly bit more money with headphone jack which was an option in the speaker manual which the previous tv did not have. Plugged in audio optical and set to pcm and s/PDF and I get sound on Sony speakers now on amazon and other apps. I'm no geek, but friend suggested the audio out optical on cheaper tv may not been able to handle apps, not sure but happy to get sound on apps like amazon prime now on newer tv.
