macos integration seems to be broken for wf-1000xm4

Sound is either on or off. Volume control on macos has no effect. It's all just really quiet.

The tap controls that I've configured on my phone aren't recognised by macos (i.e. when I tap the earbuds it doesn't skip to the next track/pause/etc)

Is this just an integration issue with macos 11.6 that's still being worked on, or do I need to send the earbuds back?

Hey craigmcfly, if the controls work on your phone it's a compatibility issue.

So I'm guessing I wasn't the only one complaining about this because we can now see battery level in macos 12 and it does better with the volume.
