Sony WH1000-XM3 left ear not working

From one day to the other my left earbud stopped working, after a while I found out that if you tap the left side softly it would start working again. Now, about 6 months later it stopped working completely and tapping it doesn't work anymore. At this point Im not sure if it's a software or hardware issue since it used to work when it was connected to an aux cable, but doesn't anymore. Any advice on what I should do?

Oh and by the way, I tried resetting the headset.

Hi,

Sounds like a broken cable inside the headphones to me.

I would suggest to send them to repair.
