Soundbar from 2016 with a TV Sony XH9505

I got a Soundbar HT-NT3 from around 2016 and tomorrow I will get my new TV Sony XH9505(European number). Can I use my old soundbar with my TV and Enjoy it. Or do I need to upgrade with a soundbar with Earc(since this soundbar only got arc)? Is it possible to use the seperate SUBWOOFER directly with the new TV and use the soundbar with old TV in the basement? Not sure how how the best setup will be. Please advice me!

Hi,

You should be able to user your old soundbar with your new TV without any issues.

However, you cannot connect the subwoofer to the TV directly.

Very helpfull of you. Installera the new TV for 30 min ago and starten to think that a subwoofer alone with the built in speakers could be enough. Thanks for clarifying that.
