topic xa1 wont turn on in General chat

xa1 wont turn on

my xa1 had faulty port and it went dead and now the phone wont turn on at all but when i put chargwr in the phone it shows red light at top but no battery icon on screen, anyone had same please thank you

Have you tried other chargers or cables?

I've had the light with no charge before on certain chargers but then charged ok on other chargers that supported the mediatek charge rates (Qualcomm fast charge only chargers won't work unless they can downstep to basic charge)

Did you try a different charger?

Also, try to force the phone to restart, press and hold on the power button with the volume up button until the phone vibrates once then release the keys.
