Delayed tv turn on routine is so annoying.

Is there a setting to make my new Sony Bravia TV turn on instantly instead of having to wait for it to "boot" up?

Hi There,

If you keep the TV plugged in, it will wake up from standby rather than boot up from scratch which is much faster.

Also, depending on the model, certain "power saving" features cause longer boot up times.
