Hello,

I'm having trouble connecting my iPhone to the radio. Every time you connect it writes the device is not supported, I tried several cables and phones but none worked always wrote the same. I tried connecting without a USB extension cable directly to the radio and no change. I have an iPhone 7 with the latest iOS and siri is active and the restrictions are on. I tried to restart both the phone and the radio and nothing has changed unfortunately.

Hi there,

Welcome to the Sony Community.

There is a possibility that the settings on your XAV-AX100 does not allow the device to connect to Apple CarPlay. Can you check the following settings below -

1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap General.
3. Set Restrictions > CarPlay > Disable Restrictions to on. The icon on the right turns green.

Hi,

Got the same problem.

Every time I connect Iphone got: USB device not supported. I checked with different cables and diffrenet Iphones (7, Xr and 11).

I have tried changing rules in Iphone as you said but it just dont work.

Android auto works just fine.

Or factory resetting it?
