Hi,

I have bought a xperia z1and have deleted hosts file (system/etc), since then when i restart my phone lots of pop up show and say for example"unfortunately, calender has stopped",plus sony pc companion doesnt detect my phone.

I'm gonna try to update the phone to solve it.

please help me what can i do,how can i solve this problem and detect phone by pc?

Hi,

I suggest that you perform a software repair in PC Companion:
http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/

In PC Companion you press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Repair phone/tablet (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it.
