In your case I would recommend that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion, this will reset your device and the screen lock will be reset.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do note that all data is also being removed and since the device can't be unlocked, you are not able to create a backup with the same program.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have also edited your signature as the links in it was not following the guide lines for our forum.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Need help unlocking/wiping phone</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just pulled an old dusty Z3C out of a drawer, and for the life of me I can't remember the unlock pattern.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tried Android Device Manager to reset password, but it says "Since Google has verified that a screen lock is already set, the password you entered won't be needed" which is super useful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's rooted, so I tried connecting via USB but adb is not showing devices connected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'd like to reset the password, or at least do a factory reset.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What can I do?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>
