More than one year with lots of issues for the Xperia 1 mk4 device. Some were solved and thank you for helping by this thread https://community.sony.ro/t5/1-series/1-iv-and-its-extremely-unpleasant-issues-for-its-wanna-be/m-p/3875647#M8512 ,but still, one very annoying is not. Check below.

This issue is still for the 64.1.A.0.941 upgrade, in camera module using different manual mode, manual selected ISO or Shutter Speeds in both JPEG and RAW savings. In manual mode, auto ISO or Shutter Speed selection is much more reduced, let's say acceptable, but otherwise is like in the shot (zoomed is clearer), and when using stars/moon shooting lowering ISO and/or SS, it's a mess:

This issue was checked on more firmware customizations, it'a a software bug. Please send this to Sony's engineers.

Hi @AlexandruRai, have you tried clearing the camera's cache and retrying? From Settings - Applications - Scroll to the Camera app - Store - Clear cache & data - Uninstall updates

If the problem only started after the last software update, I'd recommend running a software repair via Xperia Companion, it should fix all software bugs: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/mobile-phones-tablets-mobile-phones/xperia-1-iv-256gb/articles/00236877

PS: Make sure you create a backup first!

Imagine, we tried everything! Here is the last call for help.

Someone who has it, please prove we are wrong (by a sample like in here) or directly send this issue.

It seems that Sony Support stubbornly refuses to confirm by emails fixing this issue, but our team found that asking everything else, they answered. They did the same crap to Xperia 1 mk1 check here: https://community.sony.ro/t5/1-series/xperia-1-dual-persistent-issues-and-an-insolent-response/m-p/3873468#M8460. That device still has the issue too, in its manual shooting. Remember that, who is a true fan and have Xperia for many years, of course, XA family had this issue for both front and rear cameras in its drivers and was solved. Sadly, still very wrong in this regard for 1 mk4 and its price and its overall problems!

1. Unsolved software issues full manual 1 mk4 (the shot is intentionally shaken to see how many burned pixels are fixed, software bad algorithms for such):

4. Basic mode point and shoot with max brightness and color temperature 1 mk4 (image has lower brightness and the auto selection mode is disabled when changing their values to +, so it's no more auto nor basic, weird manual reaction of its drivers):

Sadly, no other 1 mk4 users weren't even curious to check these bugs, but our team. Hope it helps to get solved for mk4 mostly. Android 14 is at the corner...

Hi, you are using auto modes. Problems are in Manual modes.

For the latest upgrade *.990 there are still the unsolved issues for more than one year. Same for 1mk5!

Below all three sensors used with the same Manual mode: 64 ISO, 1s, HDR, Fluorescent, manual focus.

Zoom in and see the chaos of burned pixels of its drivers unsolved! Same for any landscape or portrait with same settings, sometimes the dots remain fixed in the picture even the one is blurred/shook, so it's no hardware issue.
