Why can't this phone support AptX LL?

It has AptX Apaptive which can support LL+HD, so why can't it do something like Adaptive with just the LL portion and not HD?

Seems a shame to have headphones which support LL, and not be able to use it for games/watching videos in sync.

AptX on its own doesn't have amazing latency.

Why not ask Qualcomm about why phone companies don't pay to license it.

Hint: it's because it was phased out a year or two ago.

If it's phased out maybe they could be nice and just give it for cheap. The whole thing reeks of a scam.

The chips are physically capable of AptX LL.

"Phased out a year or two ago" is ridiculous when new headphones are coming out still with only AptX LL and not AptX adaptive.

Yeah, it's been out for a while, and superceded by other codecs.

As for headphones that are still compatible with it and coming out, I've really only seen the amason style cheap chinese ones, or the ones that slap a posh name on them, and sell way over what they should be.

And also high end headphones are still mostly wired, so need for it.
