Hello my problem is that I cannot navigate to 3g or 4g on my xperia x, only 2g, according to my network operator it is a software problem related to the network band, is there any way to correct this, through an update of the software?

Have you ever been able to connect to 3G or LTE with this phone? if you haven't perhaps

the phone it's locked to a different carrier network/SIM locked

the phone it's not compatible with your carrier network bands.

Thanks for answering, the phone is released, I bought it on the Internet is the Japanese version (so-02j), according to my operator it is not compatible with the network band, although it does give me an operator signal for calls but the Internet is very slow ( 2g), I would like to know if there is any way to update the network band to put navigation in 3g or 4g.

I'm sorry to say this but there isn't a way to do so, if I recall those Xperia variants will only work (properly) with those carriers. One suggestion, check the XDA Forum, just in case there's a way around it

You could provide the link of that XDA forum, maybe there would be a solution, the odd one is what according to my xperia technical data, its operating band is wide and as I understand I should be able to navigate in my operator's network.
