Hi Guys

Have just bought a new XZ1 from China (old stock). Trouble is its on Android 8 and won't upload my backup from Android 9, can I upgrade it to 9?

Use Xperia companion and do a software repair.

It'll bring you to the latest available software for the phone's region at once.

Hey @Geckohead yes, your Xperia XZ1 supports Android 9. try updating it manually via Xperia companion by connecting your phone to a PC and select software repair
