XPERIA XZ is restarting all the time

Hello, my XPERIA XZ restarts all the time but I don't have to enter SIM Pin when it restarted. It is really annoying, when I hear music or play games. Could somebody help me and tell me how to fix it? And does anybody have the same problem with his XZ?

Start troubleshooting by restarting your phone into safe mode, this will disable all installed 3rd party apps. If the problem is resolved then one of your installed apps is causing this issue and you have to figure out which one. Start by uninstalling those apps you installed recently.

Hi @Ego_Held, sorry to hear about your phone.

If you experience the same behaviour while the phone is rebooted in safe mode, try temporarily removing your SIM and/or SD card(s) from the phone and see if it continues to restart when you listen to music or when playing games.

Should there be no change after doing the above, try performing a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will delete all data stored on the internal storage of the phone and reinstall the latest available software again.

Since data is being removed, creating a backup using Xperia Companion before you start with the repair is advised.

Okay, I've tried everything you've told me to try, but it's still restarting all the time. Do you have an other possible solution?

Hi again @Ego_Held,

If the phone continues to restart after a software repair has been completed and without a SIM and/or SD card inserted, your phone will need to be examined at an authorized service centre.

Your Local support team will assist you further with arranging a repair and if you have any questions regarding warranty, local service routines and so forth they will gladly assist you with these type of questions as well!
