notifcation sounds not working

Hi,

I’ve gone into the email setting and chosen a notification sound but it doesn’t use it when I get an email.

The phone seems to use the notification sound set under “Sounds” rather than the ones set in the email app.

Has anyone else experienced this or know a fix for this?

Are you using a custom notification tone or one of the pre-built ones?

Try re-cconfiguring the email app by resetting it. To do this please go to Settings > Apps > Email > Force Stop > Storage > Clear Data.
