How to change to T9 keyboard?

is there a way to turn off qwerty keyboard and if it like number pad eg key 1 is abc

Hi @maclean47, welcome to our forum!

As @uliwooly stated, the pre-installed Swiftkey keyboard does not have a setting for T9 keyboard (the one you are looking for). I would recommend that you have take a look in the Google Play store and see if there is another keyboard application that suits you better and that have support for T9.

Search for "T9 keyboard" and you should find different applications to install and try out!
