After years, from a Sony Ericsson to the Xperia XZ, I've decided it's my last Sony. The XZ was a disappointment. 80% of the time I can't use the camera because the phone is overheating. Internet connection is slow. Sorry it was a nice journey with Sony, but it's time to say goodbye.

that doesn't sound right, mine isn't overheating at all. have you tried booting into safe mode and checking if the phone is still overheating when using the camera? /t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/td-p/348008

Something is definitely wrong if your XZP overheats when using the camera. In my experience, XZP is seem to be very cool device at any situation. Yesterday i was using SloMo camera at least 15-20 min continuosly, without significant heat.

again, have you tried booting into safe mode and checking if the phone is still overheating?

Yes, from the moment i go on the internet. He's heating up. Also in safe mode.

hmm, that's weird, I can feel my XZP getting warm but that's it, no excessive heating up. perhaps you could try repairing the firmware using Xperia Companion on PC?
