The headphones in the box are so bad, i got the mh-750 is the same you all get in the box, because i was not expecting this as it this is sony latest and premium quality. Thanks

@Jadooo although what you get in your box varies across regions/countries you seldom get good high quality headphones no matter the model or who the phone manufacturer is unless there is a specific 'deal' on from a specific retailer...for instance i remember getting some great quality Noise Cancelling headphones with my Z2 a few years back

I totally agree, it baffles me that Sony hasn't started including a better standard of headphone packaged with the XZ and the XZP. There is almost no point in including them as the sound quality through them is a direct contradiction to the Premium selling point of the phone.

I rarely reply on the earbuds in the box of any device for music listening. I have my own setup and IEM.

The only thing I care about is the microphone in the MH750. I use them basically for calls.

I still use the ones that came with my xperia z2 (mdr-nc31e), they are so much better in my opinion.. The only thing that is actually improved with the new ones may be the sound stage (sounds a bit more open), otherwise they are worse in every other aspect.

Me too!! also with the Z2. But I still have them, I did didn't lose them and they sound fantastic with the XZ Premium 😇

The headphones included in the XZ Premium box sold in Italy are really bad.

The rubber around is already gone, after just a month. They are really cheap (8€ of retail price, i suppose) and they sound pretty bad too. They simply don't suit a smartphone named 'premium'.

SONY should sell the XZP without them or, instead, replace them with quality ones.

@Chicco88 If Sony was to put top of the range headphones in every box in the world the overall price to you the customer for the whole package would be more expensive.....as discussed earlier sometimes regions/network providers have special incentives with accessories so you go to them.

For instance i read an advert here in the UK to pre-order the new Sony Xperia XZ1 & you get a brand new pair of WH-H900N headphones worth £250

I do not agree, we are talking about a flagship phone.

For instance Samsung, in S8 box, has chosen to put high quality AKG headphones. That's the right choice.

XZP price in italy is 770 euros, look the glorious headphones I have after ONLY a month of usage (not mentioning the terrible way they sounds):

Again: it's not appropriate to sell a so-called Premium phone with this awful headphones. it's better to sell it without them, since they are bad.
