Media keeps getting paused

I have the latest firmware,and while playing music or video it keeps pausing randomly.It happens at any media player,including official sony apps(Music,Video) and embedded videos on Chrome.I have tried factory reset,and it didn't work.
How can I find out which app,if any,causes the problem?Or do we wait until next firmware update?

Is this happening on headphones, loudspeaker or both?

So far it has happened on headphones,bluetooth speaker,and even when it's playing on its own internal speakers

Try reinstalling the firmware by running a software repair using Xperia Companion.

I didn't do firmware repair,but I uninstalled many unused apps and the problem seems to have disappeared.Now,my question is this:
How can we detect which app has been causing this if it happens again?Is there an event logger app that we can use to track this problem? Because even if I did the firware repair,I would be still using that app and wouldn't know what else to do.

Hi all, i got issue with media playback on my phone, it happens with any media icluding youtube, SoundCloud, media player, anyting i play it just pauses it self, press play again it will do it again in a minute or two, really pissing me off

I have also encountered this problem, I tried actually powering off the handset and thought it worked, it didn't.

I recently uninstalled my cleaner app, it had a cleaner,memory booster etc.

Since then, I have been using the media and it has worked normally, I have pushed the handset, jumping from media forum to audio forum and still works seamlessly.

I'm not sure the inner diagnostics but id suggest uninstalling any device cleaner apps you have downloaded.

Factory installed apps should be fine.

Apologies, I have an Xperia XZ, so far it's a good handset, id originally had thr M4 Aqua,

This one is leagues better.
