Xperia Tablet Z2 Charges Slowly with a Good battery

Hi all,

A week ago my tablet z2 started to act weird. It practically stopped charging at all (takes like an hour to get +1% of change).

However, unlike many other similar problems of this tablet users, mine dischanges as usual, not quicker in any way.

I tested the battery, all the apps show it as 'Good'.

Then, I tested the charging process with Amere app, it shows that the max charge I get with my tablet is 80mA.

I use the same charger with my phone - it shows 750mA while charging.

So I believe my tablet's battery is fine, however, it stopped taking a change higher than 80mA.

Does anyone know how can I fix it? I would be greatfull for advice other than go to Sony Repair services.

let me clarify some things first.

what charger are you using?

are you charging using the wallmount charger?

does this happen when you are in safe mode?

I've tried every charger I have, including original Sony charger which came with the tablet.

Not sure what you mean by a wall mount charger. Just a regular power socket one.

Yes, it still happens in safe mode. Also, if the tablet is completely off, it still charges just as slowly.

Also, I tried to use the bottom charging contacts (for a charging dock), got the same result, so I know it is not the USB charging port to blame.
