Xperia e5 blank screen wont hard reset

Phone is 6 days old and i have a blank screen it got really hot but has cooled down and i cant turn it on and i have tried holding the power button and the volume up button but that isnt doing anything either any solutions or should i just claim on the warranty and never touch a sony phone again

dont have a pc so i cant fix it unless i buy one, so impressed with sony so far...

Hi @Chazz424,

Welcome to the community. I am sorry you're not having a good experience with your Sony mobile.

If you have a friend or family member who has a PC or MAC you could use for this, the process will only take 30 minutes to an hour. If you have no chance to get to a computer, then contact your Local support team and they can do it for you.

In most situations the software repair will fix it up, but if it does not help, your Local support team should be able to fix it up for you.

it wont run the software repair it just shows me the five steps and wont proceed to the actual repair i dont think it is finding my phone but the charging light is on

Just to narrow down the issue, could you test a different computer?
