Incoming calls and texts problem

Recently my phone started acting strange in relation to calls and texts. My friends and family were asking why I was ignoring their texts, every time I'd show them my Messages and the text they sent wasn't there.

Around the same time I was having problems with calls; When people would phone me the screen would stay blank and the phone would ring and vibrate. I could unlock and use the phone as normal while it was ringing and even go into the phone app and watch as it came up with "[NAME] Missed call 0 Minutes ago"

I used the Xperia companion to backup and reset my phone, only restoring photos and contacts. Since then I thought the phone was working fine because calls would appear as normal... unless I was using the phone, in which case the phone would carry on like normal while playing the thunderbirds theme (ringtone) on full blast.

I also found out that when someone calls me I recieve all my "missed" texts.

Finally, today, my mother phoned me but when I answered the phone kept ringing, I could hear her and she could hear me, but the phone just kept going off until I hung up and called her back.

I'm not sure what else to try other than getting a replacement.

Currently I'm on lollipop 5.0 and (if it's not obvious) it's an Xperia M4 Aqua.
