Hello!

So since 1,5 week I have my Sony Xperia XZ. What I noticed from the beginning is the battery drain. I already had a few times that I go to sleep with 40% - 50% battery and in the morning my phone is like out and only gives warning low battery.
First I thought it was because of Stamina mode. I started using that since day one, cause I like to get best out of my battery. So I started to use other stamina mode but still same problem.

So yesterday I turned stamina mode off and still the battery is poor. Yesterday I went to sleep with 53% and woke up this morning with 14% left. I think that's not normal when you are not using your phone, am I right?!

I already turned off apps that I don't use, I use low screen brightness and always clean apps running on the background.
Update to Nougat also didn't approve battery life.

This morning I took a screenshot of what is using the battery most:

Android operatingsystem: 25%
Phone inactive : 14%
Android system: 12%
Screen: 9%
Google play : 9%
Mobile standby : 8%
WiFi : 5%
And some apps like WhatsApp, snapchat using less then 5%

So anyone has tips how to improve my battery, And are there more Xperia XZ users coping with the same problem?

probably some app misbehaving .... so you should try to keep your phone in Safe mode n sleep today to check if the problem still persist

For me i would've checked the following things first .... Setting > location > scanning > Wifi n bluetooth scanning is off

or I might try a factory Reset

or Find any app which might be misbehaving ... It's not difficult to figure out ... just check the recently installed apps ...and find out when your phone started behaving like this n which apps you installed that day

Hmm battery health is good. I will keep trying. Maybe phone still needs to get used to being used? Because I have it 1.5 week now. But the draining seems to be mostly at night.

Now I changed something in settings with WiFi connection for sleeping mode. Maybe that'll help too.

Btw does the phone go in sleeping mode by itself or you have to set some settings for that?

Battery HEalth is good then i think you should try to Factory reset the device or Repair via Pc companion

I don't think so it should've drained this much in Safe mode .... anyways keep monitoring

I had same problem and sent phone back, fault was identified and have now over 2 weeks without a phone been finally sent a replacement phone which is draining battery almost as much, So I give up on Sony the battery life is worse than my 2 year old Z2 and I have to ask for refund unfortunately as I have always been a loyal Sony customer from TVs to MP3 players and phones this experience has really turned me off.
