Xperia Z1 battery issues after Software update

Hi guys,

I have Xperia Z1, and current Android version 4.3

I have some problems with my battery, sometimes when it comes near 30%, it can drop off till 0% in less than a minute and this is happening, usually when I am on instagram.

What is your suggestion, should I try syster reprair or to update the system?

And if i update it, will it slow down my RAM memory?

Welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear that you're having issues after the update.

The first thing I would recommend is to make sure all your apps are up to date with the latest versions. Once they are, if the issue still persists, please test the phone in safe mode.

@Lord-ar,

Test it in safe mode first. If it is still doing the same thing, run a software repair using Xperia Companion.

Battery Drain

Hello

I had some issues with my battery and I was told to do system repair. The process updated my phone till lates available updates for Xperia Z1 5.1

At first the phone was ok, until the battery life come at 68%, and shut it down immidiatly. I put it on crager and the screen showed up 45% while charging. Beside no accurancy on battery life, the phone was extreally heat.

What might be the issue?

Don't create duplicate posts, it seems that you should stop by your Local support to get your device inspected
