Car connection not automatic

Hello I'm new to the forum and am becoming SONYPHOBE with this problem, can anybody help.

Phone no longer connects automatically in car, no change to car software. This is VERY ANNOYING, phone buzzing in pocket......

A screen on the bluetooth page of the phone says "phone is visible when bluetooth parameters is open" so I leave this screen on in background to no effect.

When I connect manually "paired equipment" it works fine.

Thanks for quick reply, will test it tomorrow (it's close to midnight here!), have never used safemode before, but looks like a good start in elimination process.

Hi Moimh,

Welcome to the community,

Are you also able to advise if you have removed the connection from the handset and the Car unit?

You can forget the connection from within Bluetooth and you will likely be able to find instructions on how to reset the Car unit from the manufacturer

Will be away on business trip for a week so will come back on this later, so far it worked in safe mode, need to check if this is random or stable, and will after this if random supress and recreate the pairing.
