SMS, latest SMS is not readable

I have an annoying problem. The next latest SMS will always show up when touching i.e. the latest or an even earlier message.

This means I am not able to rear the latest SMS. a restart fixes the problem for a while.

I use Xperia Z1 compact D5503 with android 5.1.5.

I have contacted customer support via chat but they do not recognise this problem.

Hi @BenHer,

That sounds strange.

Have you tried to clear data for the app? You can do that if you go to Settings > Apps > All > Messaging > Clear data > Ok. If that doesn't help I suggest you to try an other messaging app, Google messanger for an example.
