Yeah I've found my old earphones tried it on and the quality was bad. Ive just bought another earphone should be delived in 2days if that doesnt work then i will have to send my phone back to my contract company and see if they can do anything about it, mind you this was going to be my last resort if nothing works, it would be a shame if they wll replace the phone because i got so many things stored in this one thats why i was looking for another solution. Otherwise i'll have to back all the data up somehow.

Hi. For the past few days my phone would not detect my headphones when i plug it in, there are some occasions where it did detect it but played in a very bad quality asif the headphone isnt plugged in fully. Anyways i have tried many methods that i found online, i tried disabling smart connect, tried rebooting it in safemode, tried cleaning the headphone jack, and ihave also check in the socket incase something is caught in there, and ive also cleaned the socket aswell. I know for a fact that the headphones are fine and that they work perfectly on other devices. However, oddly my mate's head phone works on my phone but i am not too sure about that because it could have been a one time fluke. Sorry for the long text and please help me fix this issue as soon as possible.

Many regads
